Sepia

2013

Acrylic and ink on cardboard

42 X 29,7 cms. c.u.

The importance of the apparent weight in each of these cartons, gives each individual an identity. As if looking through a microscope, the author designs each cell as if they were endowed with a specific function. The backgrounds of undefined profiles highlight the design; like a divinity that creates new forms of life, the author of Sepia explores the greatness of the insignificant and submits it to an individualised portrait framed in the collective.
