The Return

Coinciding with the first return of the released individuals in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, this piece offers an introspective look at another often forgotten conflict: the exiles due to the civil war in North Sudan. When will be the moment for thousands of people to return to their homes?
The artwork, featuring primary colors - yellow, red, and blue, as the refugee's flag, evokes the challenges, hope, and struggle for the return to a society at peace with itself, seeking to raise awareness about the reality of refugees and honor their struggle to return to their country.
This is a small tribute to the artist Rashid Diab, a refugee in Madrid, who has played an essential role in the cultural scene and has stood out as a leading figure in the promotion of the arts in Sudan.

Coïncidant avec le premier retour des libérés dans le conflit israélo-palestinien, cette œuvre offre un regard introspectif sur un autre conflit souvent oublié : les exilés en raison de la guerre civile au Soudan du Nord. Quand sera le moment du retour de milliers de personnes dans leurs foyers?
L'œuvre, mettant en avant les couleurs primaires - jaune, rouge et bleu, comme le drapeau du réfugié, évoque les défis, l'espoir et la lutte pour le retour vers une société en paix avec elle-même, cherchant à sensibiliser sur la réalité des réfugiés et à honorer leur lutte pour retrouver leur pays.
Il s'agit d'un petit hommage à l'artiste Rashid Diab, réfugié à Madrid, qui a joué un rôle essentiel dans le milieu culturel et s'est démarqué en tant que figure majeure dans la promotion des arts au Soudan.

Coincidiendo con el primer retorno de los liberados en el conflicto israelí-palestino, esta obra ofrece una mirada introspectiva a otro conflicto muchas veces olvidado: los exiliados a causa de la guerra civil en Sudán del Norte. ¿Cuándo será el momento del regreso de miles de personas a sus hogares?
La obra de colores primarios: amarillo, rojo y azul, como bandera del refugiado; evocan los desafíos, la esperanza y la lucha por el regreso a una sociedad en paz consigo misma, buscando generar conciencia sobre la realidad de los refugiados y honrar la lucha por el regreso a su país.
Se trata de un pequeño homenaje al artista Rashid Diab, refugiado en Madrid, que ha desempeñado un papel esencial en el panorama cultural y se ha destacado como máximo exponente en la divulgación de las artes en Sudán.
